Sorry no pics this time ... I have a bunch I will post later when I get them all gathered and onto my computer.
Today Dan said "You just keep getting prettier and prettier each day ... you should write a book about how you do it" So here goes my book:
Ladies, it's simple. All you have to do is find a guy like Dan who thinks you get prettier each day. The end.

Here's an update of the last ... few months!

Dan and I went down to LaSal to see his sister and his new little niece. We went to delicate arch. He grew up 1/2 an hour away from it and he'd never been there! It was a lot of fun, but scampering over the slick rock was more enjoyable than actually seeing the famous arch.

We went up to branding. It is always an experience! At least the little boys didn't fight over the delicacy that comes from branding. I've never had the stomach for those oysters.

My friend Leah surprised me. She had gone to Mexico with her fiance and I thought I'd never see her again. She came back an is staying with me for about a month before going home to California. Her birthday fell during this month so we went and picked out a pound of See's Chocolate.

Guess what I did today! Classic Office move ... the intern burns something in the microwave and the whole building gets evacuated. Just for the record, don't buy the Betty Crocker instant rice bowls.

Ski Trip
This trip was a couple weeks ago. I had so much fun! Dan and I went down and was spoiled silly by his mom and Stuart. This was my first time skiing, and his mom is a good teacher. She was very patient as I learned. I had some magnificent crashes and forgot sunscreen (apparently the sun can still burn when it's cold outside). The little bit of pain was worth it though. I love the feeling of flying down a mountain.

This is me with Sean, Wendy and Stuart. Sean is really good at skiing! He gave me some good pointers on snowplowing.

Easter Weekend

Jessica came down from Idaho and we played all weekend long! We got up at 6:30 AM to get to conference on time. It was worth it. Here we are at the conference center.
Between sessions we toured the Beehive house - in Spanish. I understood about 1/4 of what was said through a combination of picking up bits of Spanish from Dan and Leah and knowing a lot of the stories they told. Jessica translated the rest.

Daniel picked us up after the second session and we met his family at a park. There were baby goats, rabbits, horses and other farm animals there. Here's Daniel and I petting a baby goat.
We decorated eggs too. It was fun pretending to be a kid again. I even got an Easter bucket this year. I haven't had one for a few years now ... Dan's parents spoil me.

My cousins Holly and Charles were able to drop in after they came back from Wyoming. After some persuading, we got Charles to be in the picture too. I should have expected he would do something like this.

Spring Day
I have winter fever. Bad. Saturday was simply a beautiful day. I took full advantage of it. Laura, Daniel and I had a picnic outside then made a few improvements to my back yard.
First order of business was getting the little garden spot ready. Dan can dig 20 times faster than I can! He got that 10x6 foot plot dug up in less than 20 minutes. It took me that long to do one shovel row along the 6 foot side ...
Daniel loves to swing. His face lights up and he looks so contented sitting there in a swing. I decided to make one for him. I sweet talked my way into getting holes drilled in a board, got the rope ready and then I realized I had no idea how to tie the knots so they wouldn't unravel. So much for my surprise for Daniel. Oh well, I can rarely keep my surprises anyway - a trait inherited from my dad. I showed Daniel the wares and he scrambled up that tree like a squirrel. Here's Laura on the swing. Daniel was in the house programming by the time I remembered pictures.

Laura and I got some spray paint and attacked the table and chairs. I wish I took a before picture because they were very sad looking. They look a million times better. Now for the rest of the yard! As you can see, it still needs a lot of work ...
